Hot Cider

Ingredients

  • 1/2 gal. cider
  • 1 qt. cranapple or cranberry juice
  • 2 c. orange juice
  • 1 tsp whole cloves
  • 1 tsp whole allspice
  • 3 sticks cinnamon - broken

Preparation

Step 1

Put liquid in 30 cup percolator (never use for coffee after cider has been brewed in it). Spices go in basket. Turn on and wait for percolator* light to indicate ready.

*Can also be made on the stove top in a big pot, with spices in spice bag. Let simmer for about 1/2 hour.
