- 1 CAN DICED TOMATOES
- 1 TBSP CAPERS DRAINED
- 1 TBSP GROUND CUMIN
- 1/2 TSP GROUND CINNAMON
- SALT
- 3 GARLIC CLOVES, SLICED
- 2 LARGE RED, YELLOW, AND OR GREEN PEPPERS SLICED
- 2 LARGE PICKLED JALAPENO CHILIES SLICED
- 1 MEDIUM ONION
- 1 3 LB BRISKET
- WARM TORTILLAS AND OR COOKED RICE

Step 1
1 IN 4 1/2 - 6 QUART SLOW COOKER BOWL, COMBINE TOMATOES WITH JUICE, CAPERS, CUMIN, CINNAMON, AND 1 TSP SALT. ADD GARLIC, PEPPERS, JALAPENOS, ONION AND BRISKET. STIR TO COAT BRISKET AND VEGETABLES WITH TOMATO MIXTURE. COVER SLOW COOKER WITH LID AND COOK AS MANUFACTURER DIRECTS ON LOW SETTING FOR 9-10 HOURS.
2 WITH A SLOTTED SPOON TRANSFER BRISKET AND VEGETABLES TO LARGE WITH PLATE, WITH 2 FORKS SHRED BRISKET WITH GRAIN INTO FINE STRIPS. SKIM AND DISCARD FAT FROM COOKING LIQUID. STIR COOKING LIQUID INTO BRISKET MIXTURE. SERVE BRISKET MIXTURE WITH TORTILLAS OR RICE.
