Sausage & Cajun Mustard Dip
- 1/2 cup dry mustard
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 lbs. smoked sausage
- Tonys seasoning
Combine mustard and vinegar slowly, mix well. Let stand for 3 hrs. stirring often.
Add the beaten egg and \sugar to the mixture and stir. Transfer to a medium size saucepan with a heavy bottom and cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens. Let cool.
Preheat oven to 425.
Cut the sausage into bite-size pieces. Place in a pan and sprinkle with the Tonys seasoning. Bake for 5 minutes.
Drain the sausage on paper towels and place in a bowl or crockpot. Serve with the mustard dip.
