Ingredients
- 2 c. plain flour, sifted
- 5 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 lb. soft butter
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tbsp. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. chopped fine pecans
- Powdered sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Mix flour and sugar together. Then add butter, vanilla, water and salt. Blend together by hand. Then add 2 cups chopped pecans. Dough will be moist. Take tablespoon at a time and roll in hand until shaped like hot dog. Pinch ends off and curve like a crescent shape. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes, don't overbake, they won't be brown. While warm roll in powdered sugar.
