Easy Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 3/4 cup of milk
  • melted margarine

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 450

Cut shortening into flour with pastry blender until fine crumbs. Add milk until dough leaves the side of the bowl and forms a ball. Turn dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Pat the dough into a 6" square with floured hands. Cut into 2 inch squares cutting through the dough. Brush with margarine. Bake until golden brown about 15-20 minutes.

Cool and gently pull apart.
