Ingredients
- 2 NY Strip Steaks
- Fresh Pizza Dough
- 1 1/2 cups Italian shedded cheese
- 1/2 cup crumbled Blue Cheese
- 3 cups Arugula salad mix
- 1 1/2 cup grape tomatoes - halved
- 1/3 cup red onion, thinly sliced, quartered
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 TB honey
- 1 1/2 TB Olive Oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat grill to medium-high. Brush grill grate with oil.
For Balsamic Glaze, whisk the vinegar, honey, oil, and garlic in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil and simmer until it thickens slightly and becomes syrupy, whisking often, about 15 minutes.
Brush steak with olive oil and season with salt & pepper. Grill Steaks, covered to desired doneness. Transfer steaks to a cutting board and let rest 5 minutes before slicing thinly.
In seperate grill pan, saute grape tomatoes.
Dip dough in flour and roll into a 16 inch round. Lightly brush dough with oil and season with salt. Grill dough covered, covered 2 minutes. Flip dough sprinkle dough with cheeses and grill until cheese is melted and crust crips - about 2 minutes.
In a bowl, season Arugula with salt & pepper. Add a drizzle Balsamic glaze and toss.
Top grilled dough with Arugula, tomato, red onion steak slices. Drizzle pizza with remaining Balsamic glaze.
