Sweet Lauryn's BBQ Sauce- gallon

Ingredients

  • 10 cups ketchup
  • 8 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 cup molasses
  • 2 cup pineapple juice (or you can sub apple cider vinegar)
  • 2 TBS corn starch and 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/8 cup ground mustard
  • 1/3 cup paprika
  • 1 TBS + 1 TSP garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup kosher salt
  • 2 TBS + 2 TSP pepper
  • 2 TBS + 2 TSP Franks
  • 4 Tsp Liquid Hickory smoke

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all the ingredients except the water and corn starch mixture in a medium size sauce pot. Bring to a boil and reduce and simmer for five minutes or until all the sugar has dissolved. Simmer until desired thickness is reached
