LASAGNA (makes 2 pans)

  • 2 boxes lasagna noodles
  • 2 lb hamburger
  • 2 jars spaghetti sauce
  • 1 chopped onion
  • small curd cottage cheese
  • 8-12 eggs
  • small ricotta cheese
  • 8 oz mozzarella
  • Mozarella slices

Preparation

Step 1

Brown hamburger with chopped onion. Drain off excess. Add spaghetti sauce. Simmer for ½ to 1 hour. Cook lasagna noodles. Combine cottage cheese, ricotta cheese and eggs. Mix well. Add 1 package mozzarella cheese (shredded). Start with coating bottom of greased 9x13 pan with sauce. Then double layer of noodles, then cheese, sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella slices or shredded. Repeat layers ending with sauce. Top with mozzarella. 350, 30-45 minutes.
