Ingredients

  • Cake:

  • 2

    cups flour

  • 1

    teaspoon baking powder

  • 1

    teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2

    cup margarine

  • 1

    cup sugar

  • 3

    eggs

  • 1

    teaspoon vanilla

  • 1

    cup sour cream

  • Topping:

  • 1/2

    cup sugar

  • 1

    teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

1. Sift together flour, baking powder and baking soda. 2. Cream together margarine and 1 cup sugar, in bowl on medium speed, until light and fluffy. 3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. 4. Blend in vanilla. 5. Add dry ingredients alternatively with sour cream to the creamed mixture, beating well after each addition. 6. Spread half of the mixture into greased 9" tube pan. 7. Combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon in small bowl. 8. Sprinkle half of the mixture over batter. 9. Pour remaining batter over mixture and spread remaining mixture on top. 10. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes or until golden brown. 11. Cool in pan on rack for 15 minutes. 12. Remove from pan and cool on rack.
