Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1/4 cup bottled steak sauce
  • 2 tsp. mustard powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • Prepare grill for direct-heat cooking. In bowl, combine beef, steak sauce, mustard powder, salt and pepper.
  • Stir 4 scallions (chopped), 2 carrots (grated, then chopped) and 1/4 cup honey Dijon mustard into beef.
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato Slices
  • Avocado
  • Cilantro Sprigs
  • Monterey Jack Cheese
  • Whole Wheat Burger buns

Preparation

Step 1

Top grilled burgers with Monterey Jack cheese. Serve on whole-wheat burger buns with lettuce, tomato slices, ketchup, avocado slice and cilantro sprigs.
