Dark Chocolate Glaze (BAKING)

Makes 1 1/3 cups, enough to cover the top and sides of a 9 inch round cake

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter, cubed or sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Melt the chocolate with the corn syrup and butter in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water. Stir with a rubber spatula until smooth.
