Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce)package elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 2 1/2 cups (10 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground white pepper
- paprika
Preparation
Step 1
Cook macaroni according to package directions, drain.
Layer one-third each of macaroni and cheese in a lightly greased 2-quart baking dish. Repeat procedure, and top with remaining macaroni. (reserve remaining cheese).
Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper; pour over macaroni and cheese.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with remaining cheese and paparika.
Cover and let stand 10 minutes before serving.
