Triple Orange Delight

Ingredients

  • 1 prepared angel food cake
  • 2 cans mandarin oranges, drained and juice reserved
  • 2 pkgs. (4 oz. size) orange jell-o
  • 1 quart orange sherbet
  • 1 (12 oz.) carton cool whip or whipped cream

Preparation

Step 1

Bring 1 cup reserved juice to a boil. Stir in gelatin until dissolved. Pour into large bowl. Add sherbet, stirring until melted. Fold in cool whip or whipped cream.

Cut or tear cake into bite-size pieces. Place half the pieces in 13 x 9 pan. Cut orange segments into pieces. Place half the orange pieces over cake. Cover with half the sherbet mixture. Repeat with remaining cake, orange pieces and sherbet mixture. Chill.
