Herb wine and marinated steak

Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 cup burgundy
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 2 tbsp instant minced
  • 2 tsp thyme leave
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp instant minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper
  • 3 lb steak 2 1/2 thick
  • 1 7/8 package brown gravy mix

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the burgundy oil and onion thyme salt garlic and pap per and mix well. Place the steak in a pan and pour burgundy mix over steak marinate for at least 18 hours. Drain and reserve marinate. Grill steak over hot coals for 15 to 20 minutes on each side to desired doneness. Strain reserved marinade and combine with 1 cup of water and gravy mix in saucepan. Bring to a boil stirring constantly and cook until slightly thickened. Serve with canned peach halves.
