Almond Cresents

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup almonds finely chopped
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350
Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl mix with a electric mixer until butter and sugar until well blended. Add almonds and vanilla. Add flour and mix until crumbly in texture but comes together if you put a teaspoon in your hand and make a fist.
By teaspoon shape dough into 1 1/2 crescents, place on the parchment paper about 2 inches apart. Bake until edges turn slightly brown about 12 to 15 minutes.
Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute or they will fall apart.
While still warm roll in powdered sugar and place om a wire rack to cool. Once cool roll in powdered sugar again.
