- very thinly sliced bacon
- dark brown sugar
- chili powder
- 1 box of grissini, long thin bread sticks

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350, and set the bacon on the counter to let it soften up for about 10 minutes.
Mix the sugar and chili powder in a long skinny baking dish.
Very carefully wrap the bacon around the breadsticks in a delightful spiral of fat.
Roll the bacon-y bread stick in the sugar and chili mixture, then set them, one by one on the rack of a broiler pan about 1/2 inch apart and bake for about 20 minutes. They are great at room temperature.
