Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 (15oz. cans)sweetened condense milk (eagle brand)
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. nuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter,corn syrup, and sugar in heavy sauce pan.Boil for 5 min. stirring constantly, add 1 1/2 c. of the eagle brand milk. Then mix together 1/2 c. eagle brand milk with 1/2 c. flour add to boiling mixture. Boil till it reaches just before the soft ball on your candy thermometer. Take off and add the vanilla . Pour into 2 buttered 13x9 pans . Cool and cut and wrap.
