Ingredients
- 1 lb. softened margarine
- 2 cups dark brown sugar
- 1-1/2 cups white sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 6 cups flour
- 1/2-tsp. salt
- 1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 4 cups chocolate chips
- 2 cups chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Cream the margarine, dark sugar, and white sugar.
Mix in the eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and add to the above mixture. This mixture might be sticky and dry.
Add chips and nuts. Using an ice cream scoop, drop small batter scoops on wax paper lined cookie sheets. Bake at 350°F for 8 – 10 minutes.
Cool for five minutes. Do not reuse wax paper.
