Chocolate Carmels

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 4 squares chocolate
  • 1 1/2 cups white Karo syrup
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

cook sugar, syrup, 1 cup cream and butter to a bubbling boil, add other cup of cream, slowly cook to hard ball stage. Remove from heat and add chocolate, nuts and vanilla, beat only until chocolate is melted. Pour in to a buttered pan, let stand until cold. Cut into squares and wrap.
