Ingredients
- 3 TBS vegetable oil
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 lbs beef stew meat
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 ( .75 )packet dry gravy mix
- 1 cup water
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a large skillet sauté onion in oil until almost translucent.
2. Add stew meat cook until brown on all sides.
3. Add 2 cups water, and Worcestershire into skillet. Stir in garlic powder, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce, and simmer for 1 - 1/2 hours.
4. Combine gravy mix with one cup water. Mix thoroughly, add to meat mixture. Bring to a boil until thickened. Serve over egg noodles
