Ingredients
- 2 cups loosely packed fresh basil
- 1/4 cup fat-free chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablepoon olive oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 ounce freshly grated parmesan or romano cheese
- 8 ounces spaghetti, cooked

Preparation
Step 1
In a food processor, puree basil, broth, garlic, oil, lemon juice and pepper. Stir in parmesan and toss with hot spaghetti.
To make tossing the pasta easier, stir in a tablespoon or so of the pasta cooking water.
Diced tomatoes are a great addition.
