  • 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (1/2 pound) unsalted butter
  • 8 ozs cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4-1/2 cup raisins

Preparation

Step 1

In mixing bowl, place flour, butter and cream cheese and mix well til dough forms. Divide into 4 balls of pastry, wrap in plastic wrap or wax paper and refrigerate at least 2 hours.

On floured board, roll each piece of pastry into 1/4 inch thick round, about 10-12 inches in diameter. In small bowl, mix together sugar, cinnamon, walnuts and raisins. Sprinkle this filling on each pastry round, then cut each round into 12 wedges. Starting at wide end, roll up each wedge to a crescent. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.
