Ingredients
- For 1-pound loaf
- 1/3 cup lukewarm water
- 1 1/3 cups (11.3 oz.) sourdough starter
- 1 2/3 cups (7 oz.) King Arthur All-Purpose or Bread Flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
Preparation
Step 1
Place ingredients into the pan of your machine, in the order listed; program for French Bread, or a similar long-rising cycle; and press Start. This bread won't crown, but will remain flat across the top.
