Tipsy Strawberries

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup bourbon
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 pints strawberries, sliced or cut into quarters

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix the brown sugar, bourbon, lemon juice, maple syrup and vanilla in large bowl. Mix well.Add strawberries and mix well to coat. Refrigerate, covered, for 8 to 12 hours. Serve cold over waffles or with pound cake or vanilla ice cream.
