Sausage and Egg Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb roll sausage, cooked and drained
  • 6 slices white bread
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 cups whole milk (or half and half)
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 t dry mustard

Preparation

Step 1

Fry and scramble sausage; drain.
Tear or cut bread into cubes.
Spread bread on bottom of 9 X 13 dish.
Top with sausage. Sprinkle grated cheese over. Mix remaining ingredients together; beat well. Pour liquid over top of cheese, sausage and bread.
Refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes.
