Double Chocolate Chewies

Ingredients

• 1 pkg devil's cake mix
• 1 egg
• 1/3 c water
• 1/4 c butter, melted
• 1 1/2 c white chocolate chips
• 1/2 c dried cranberries
• 1/2 c slivered almonds or pecans

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine cake mix, egg, water and melted butter. Beat on low speed for 1 min. or just until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips, cranberries and nuts. Mix well.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets. Bake 8-10 mins or just until softly set. Cool 1 min. or until firm on baking sheets, then remove to racks and cool completely.



Note: Added more flour, too soft.
