Ingredients
- 1 lb phyllo pastry
- 1 lb sweet butter melted
- 4 cups honey
- 2 cups finely choopped walnuts
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Note: better to grind last 3 ingred.
Preparation
Step 1
Take a sheet of pastry, brush with butter and cinnamon then place a second sheet on top then third.
Cut length wise into 1/4's.
Place nut and sugar cinnamon mixture spread evenly over pastry.
roll up like cigars
Line up on greased baking sheet.
Butter tops and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Bake 400 until golden, remove and pour honey over.
Note: Boil honey first.
