Award Winning Blender Salsa

Ingredients
- Ingredients:
- 15 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 15 oz can stewed tomatoes
- 1 large white onion (quartered)
- 2 to 4 jalepenos/serranos/or habeneros
- (if you’re brave!)
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1 bunch garlic
- chili powder
- seasoned Salt
- onion powder
- black pepper
- red pepper
- cumin
- 1 tsp of lime juice
- 1 TBS apple cider vinegar
Preparation
Step 1
Divide and peel garlic – add all garlic and peppers to nonstick skillet and heat – just enough so they are a little blackened
Add to blender:
1 can tomatoes (either one)
1/2 tsp chili powder
¼ tsp season salt
¼ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp red pepper
¼ tsp cumin
Break up Cilantro, add to blender, and blend ingredients so far.
Add other can of tomatoes
Add ½ onion – blend
Add other ½ onion and all garlic – blend
Add peppers until spiciness desired, salt and more spice to taste, if needed
Add 1 tsp lime juice and 1 tsp apple cider vinegar – blend
