JD's BBQ SAUCE

Ingredients

  • 2 #10 cans Hunts ketchup
  • 1 can water
  • 5 rounded tablespoons salt
  • 2 rounded and 1 level tablespoons garlic and onion powder.
  • 2 rounded and 1 level tablespoons thyme and oregano
  • 1 heaping tablespoon cumin
  • 4 level tablespoons black pepper
  • 2 level tablespoons red pepper
  • 2 cups Worchestershire (topped off cups)
  • 2 cups vinegar
  • 1 cup liquid smoke
  • 10 to 12 bay leaves

Preparation

Step 1

Simmer over low heat for a few hours stirring occasionally.
