Quick Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • Dough:
  • 3 cups bisquick
  • 1 cup milk
  • Filling:
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • Glaze:
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons milk
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons margarine, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 37 degrees F.
2. Lightly grease a 9" x 13" baking pan.

Dough:
3. Mix bisquick and milk thoroughly.
4. Turn onto surface sprinkled with bisquick and knead 3 to 4 times.
5. Roll dough to 1/4" thickness.
6. Fold dough into quarters.
7. Roll and fold again.
8. Roll dough to 12" x 8" rectangle, 1/4" thick.

Filling:
9. Mix cinnamon and sugar together.
10. Spread dough with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
11. Allow butter to absorb into dough.
12. Roll from long side and seal edges.
13. Cut into 1" slices and place in pan.
14. Brush tops with additional melted butter.
15. Bake 25-35 minutes.
16. Cool.

Glaze:
17. Combine ingredients together.
18. Drizzle over rolls.
