indiana sugar cream pie

  • pastry single crust
  • 1 cup br. sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 cups 1/2 and 1/2
  • 1 teas vanilla
  • 2 tbl. butter cut in small pieces

Preparation

Step 1

in small bowl , mix br. sugar and flour.in another bowl mix 1/2 and vanilla.evenly spread sugar mix in bottom of pastry lined pie pan.pour 1/2 mix over sugar mix.evenly distribute butter pieces over top..sprinkle nutmeg on top..cover edges with foil..bake 25 min...uncover and bake 30 min. or until top is lightly browned and center of pie is bubbly. cool on wire rack ..cover and chill
