Ingredients

  • 16 oz tomatoe sauce (homemade or canned organic)
  • 4 oz canned diced green chile, undrained
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 4 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 clove minced garlic

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine all ingredients in food processor. Puree until well mixed

2. If you do't plan to use immediately, may place in freezer container and freeze. Will need to complete step 3 one you thaw. Heating time may increase on frozen sauce-whisking helps bring it back to an even consistency.

3. If plan on using: Place sauce in saucepan and heat over med-low heat approximately 5 minutes or until heated through.
