ESCALLOPED POTATOES {mom westrick}

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 6 cups thin sliced potatoes
  • Thinly sliced onion
  • Ham, opt.

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F

Blend and cook together; butter, flour and salt in a heavy saucepan. Add 3 cups whole milk, cook until smooth. Add potatoes, onion and ham. Cook a few minutes on the stove top.

Place in a casserole dish and bake 45 minutes.
