Ingredients

  • 4 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 10-ounce botte chili sauce
  • 1 1.34-ounce pkg dry onion soup mix
  • 1 3/4-ounce pkg brown gravy mix
  • 4 19-ounce cans stewed tomatoes
  • 4 teaspoons oregano
  • 4 tablespoons chili powder
  • 8 cups or 5 12-ounce cans whole-kernel corn, drained
  • 4 cups (1 lb.) elbow macaroni, cooked according to pkg directions, omitting salt

Preparation

Step 1

In a large pot, brown ground beef, stirring and breaking up meat. Drain well. Add chili sauce, onion soup mix, brown gravy mix, stewed tomatoes, oregano, chili powder and corn. Mix well. Add macaroni to beef mixture; stir and cook until heated through, about 10 minutes. Allow to cool, and freeze in four equal portions. Defrost and reheat when ready to use.
