Healthier Chocolate Pecan Pie substitute Honey for Corn Syrup

Ingredients
- 4 ounces Ghirardelli Semi-Sweet Chocolate Baking Bar
- 2 Tablespoons of butter
- 3 3ggs
- 1 cup light corn syrup OR Honey
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar (little less when using Honey)
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 325F Melt chocolate and butter. In large bowl with electric mixer, beat eggs, syrup/honey, sugar vanilla and salt until blended; beat in chocolate mixture. Stir in pecans; pour into pie crust, then place some pecans on top; place pie on baking sheet on middle rack of oven for about 35-45 minuties OR until filling is set .
