Ingredients
- 5 lb. potatoes or Instand Potatoes for 10
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 8 oz. softened cream cheese.
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. half and half
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Cook and drain about 5 lbs. potatoes.
Mash over low heat until steam escapes - about 3 mintues. Turn off heat, add butter and softened cream cheese. Add a little half and half, beginning with about 1/2 cup. Salt and pepper. Pour into bowl. Top with pats of butter. Bake 350 degrees 20 to 30 minutes. Can be reheated. Leave out of refrigerator to get to room temp. then reheat.
