    butternut squash, cut in half and seeds scraped out

  • 2

    Tbsp butter, melted

  • 3

    Tbsp light brown sugar

  • 1/8

    tsp nutmeg

  • 1/4

    tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4

    tsp salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 375F. Place squash halves in a 3-1/2 quart baking dish, trimming ends to make fit if need be. Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl and pour over squash. Bake for 40–60 minutes (depending on the size of the squash) until spoon tender. Spoon out at the table to serve, drizzling with glaze that has pooled into the wells of the squash.
