Ingredients
- SAUCE:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp. ground ginger
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 pears, peeled and cored
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup whipping cream
- 2 tsp. ground ginger
- whipped cream for garnish
Preparation
Step 1
Combine sugar, ginger, lemon juice, water and pears in a 2 quart round microwave safe dish. Microwave covered on high, 6 to 8 minutes, turning pear over half way through cooking; let stand.
Sauce:
Combine chocolate chips, cream and ginger in a 2 cup glass measure. Microwave on medium for 2 to 4 minutes, stirring after each minute.
Divide sauce evenly on 4 dessert plates. Place pear on sauce and garnish with whipped cream.
