Ingredients

  • 1 29 ounce can peach halves
  • whole cloves
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 inches stick cinnamon, broken

Preparation

Step 1

Drain peaches, reserving 1 cup syrup. Combine syrup, vinegar, cloves, sugar and cinnamon. Add peaches. Bring to boil, simmer uncovered 3 to 4 minutes. Cool. Cover and refrigerate. Before using, drain peaches and remove cinnamon.
