Ingredients
- 3 qts water
- 1 lb meat, cut into cubes
- 1 6 oz can tomato paste
- 1-2 tblsp beef boulion
- 1 tblsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3/4 lb beets 2 cups
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cups shredded carrots
- 1/2 minced onion
- 1 tblsp caraway
- 1 tblsp dill seed
- 1/8 tsp garlic
- 1-2 tblsp lemon juice
Preparation
Step 1
Fry the cubes of beef and then add the water and veg. Put everything into the pot and cook till tender, an hour or so. Adjust the lemon, salt, and pepper levels.
