Shrimp delight

Ingredients

  • 1 large pkg. frozen shrimp
  • 1 large can of mushrooms (drained)
  • 3 pkg. Green Giant Rice (1 wild and 2 medley)
  • 2 cans frozen cream of shrimp soup or any of the canned fish soups, such as lobster bisque.
  • 2 tbs. sherry (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Cook the shrimp as package indicates in salted water until tender, drain and let cool. Cook rice as package directs for about 15 minutes, do not overcook. Remove the rice from packages and add shrimp and drained mushrooms. Pour over and mix the soup. Be sure it is not too runny.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutesa or until bubbly and it may be covered for the first 15 minutes with foil.

This receipe can be prepared ahead of time and then frozen.
