Pecan Crispies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C shortening
  • 1/2 C butter
  • 2 1/2 C brown sugar
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 2 1/2 C flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 C chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Cream shortening, butter, sugar and eggs together and beat well. Whisk together dry ingredients, and add to the egg-sugar mixture. Add chopped nuts. Baked on lined cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
