Ingredients
- 4 peppers
- 1 can generic tomato sauce
- 1 package yellow rice
- garlic powder
- salt and pepper
- 1 small bag shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package ground beef
- 1 cove garlic minced
- 1/2 onion chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Cook rice according to package. Brown meat in skillet with onions and season with garlic salt and pepper to taste. Add can of tomato sauce and yellow rice. Add cheese to meat rice mixture saving some to top each pepper. Place mixture in each mixture topping off with left over cheese. Bake at 350 about 1 hour or until peppers are soft and cheese is slightly browned.
**for softer peppers place in boiling water before stuffing for about 5 min**
