Ingredients
- Cookies:
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp grated lemon peel
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tsp cream of tarter
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Glaze:
- 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 400
Combine all cookie ingredients in large mixer bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed. Drop dough by rounded tsp 2 in apart on to ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 6-8 mins or until edges are lightly browned. Meanwhile, combine all glaze ingredients in small bowl, stir until smooth. Frost warm cookies with glaze. Sprinkle with grated lemon peel, if desired.
