Ingredients

  • 2 cans (12oz each) cherry pie filling
  • 2 pkg chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 4 hershey's chocolate candy bars
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 12 " cast iron dutch oven.

Preparation

Step 1

1. In the dutc oven, add pie filling, top with cake mix (do not stir). Top the cake mix with chunks of butter, top with walnuts and break candy bar into pieces over top.

2. Bake at 350F for 40-60 mins until done.

Note: The original recipe is for a campfire, check time and baking temp for oven.
