Shrimp Carbonara Fettuccine

  • 1/2 pound fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup frozen petite peas with onions
  • 1 (4 oz) can Chicken of the Sea Small Shrimp
  • 2/3 cup half & half
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup bacon bits
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped Italian parsley
  • garlic salt and pepper to taste

Step 1

Prepare fettucine pasta according to package directions adding peas the last 5 minutes of cooking; drain. Immediately return pasta and peas to pan. Add shrimp and remaining ingredients. Toss until cheese is melted and ingredients are well blended.

(cook’s suggestion: for an added kick, toss in a dash of red pepper flakes)
