Ingredients

2 T butter
2 T flour
1 c milk
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
dash pepper
2 c frozen peas

Preparation

Step 1

qt size sauce pan or bigger
melt butter over med heat.
add flour, whisk till smooth lump free
gradually stir in milk, when combined well, add sugar salt pepper
cook, stir till it begins to boil
count to 60, stirring entire time
add peas, cover, simmer 3-5 min. med heat
don't overcook
