Apple Coffee Cake

Bake in two layer cake pans

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 Cups flour
• 2 Tsp Baking Soda
• 1/2 Tsp salt
• 1/2 Cup sugar
• 1 Egg
• 2/3 to 3/4 Cup milk
• 3 Tbl oil/shortening
• vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients and pour into 2 8 or 9 inch layer cake pans.
Fan out apple slices on top
Melt 1 stick butter per pan and pour over apples & batter.
Mix cinnamon & sugar and sprinkle over top.
Bake 350° until done 20 to 30 minutes
