Stuffed manicotti

Ingredients

  • 1 box manicotti
  • 4 tsp olive oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 15 oz container ricotta
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1 cup parmesan
  • 2 tblsp parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 tblsp butter

Preparation

Step 1

Sauté the onion and minced garlic and after a few minutes add the beef. Brown the meat adding salt and pepper and then take it of the heat to cool.cook the manicotti as package directs. When it is done spread them onto a cookie sheet with a few tsp olive oil to cool. Meanwhile combine the ricotta, 1-2 cups mozzarella, 1/2 cup parmesan and parsley. Salt and pepper to taste . Mix with cooled meat mixture and stuff the manicotti carefully. Spoon half of the sauce on the bottom of casserole dish, place manicotti in and the rest of the mozzarella, then sauce and the Parmesan dot with butter.
Bake @350* for 30-35 minutes till nice and bubbly.
