Favorite Dutch Crumb Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 5-6 apples
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 5-6 tabs of butter over apples
  • Topping: 1/2 c. soft margarine
  • 1 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Peel, core and slice apples. Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon and toss with apples. Place apples in prepared deep dish pie crust. Top apples with 5-6 tabs of butter.

Topping: Mix margarine, flour and brown sugar til crumbly. Spread over apples. Bake at 350 for 55 min. Place a pan beneath the pie in the oven to catch the drippings.
